Three questions

Anne and I went to Powerbooks today and browsed through some books. We came across this tiny red book, much like "The book of answers" which is supposed to contain all the answers to the questions in your head. But this one is no encyclopedia for the answers pertain to one-liners randomly written on each page. And the fun part is supposed to be when you serendipitously open the page that contains the "answer" to your question. Imagine a 200 or so pages version ng magic 8 ball. Ganun.

Well anyway, in the three times I opened (and asked) the book, I got these answers:

1. Do you really have to ask that question?
2. Don't rush it.
3. Things will work themselves out.

---

Wasted time there didn't I? But it was surely very amusing. But I wish I got a more direct answer like, "Of course." or better yet, "Stop asking questions to which you already know the answers" or "Why not, Leah?" That will really be serendipitous don't you think? (hehe).

I would have bought it if I wasn't saving up for something. And if it isn't Php 400++. I mean my HTML book costs a little over that. And that is HTML. Hehehe, reminds me of a testimonial I got from my boss. He said LEAH stands for Lovely Earthling Addicted to HTML. Haha. I am an addict alright. And the word "lovely" is suppose to compensate for it? Nah. Addict is fine.

In 6 days, my papa is celebrating his birthday. I don't know what to get him yet, but it's a good thing mama, anne and I are teaming up for this. Spa certificate or Magic Sing daw. Sana Magic Sing na lang. Hehe.

Got to sleep longer. My eyebags are beginning to make my eyes look upside down (sabi ni cath yung eyebags parang eyelids ko na). *silip sa mirror* Totoo nga. Laugh laugh.

Hay, antok lang 'to.

of birthdays and highschool friends

What is better than a double bday celebration? Whatelse but a triple treat at TGIF courtesy of our very generous friend, Bauzy (now known as Jaja) :P

Was it a happy bday? Pictures say it all, don't they? Actually, on second thought, they don't say much.

Thank you to all those who made my week-long birthday special. :)

writing to my heart's content

The pain is unimaginable, the type you can never prepare yourself for no matter how many times you rehearsed the worst on your mind. There's nothing like that sting upon realizing you lost someone and everday is a little bit worse because that person is not there where he used to be. You'd own the pain, nurture it til you find it hard to breathe and instinctly cry until you get dehydrated. You'll find comfort shortlived and at the end of the day, utterly pointless.

But then, there will be that one day when you'd wake up and find yourself feeling differently, that suddenly being happy has become more and more effortless, and see that the glass is really half full.

The pain does go away sooner than you think. And waking up to this thought is simply blogworthy.

In 10 days time, it is a brand new year for me. Can hardly wait. :P
